Highlander

Modern-day New York is the location of "The Gathering," where Connor and the few remaining immortals must battle to the last for "The Prize." THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

The soundtrack has some of the best songs recorded by the music group Queen. I do believe it is a very good feature which benefits from deeply emotional characterizations and tight complex story.

Ghost

Patrick Swayze plays a ghost who teams with a psychic (Whoopi Goldberg) to uncover the truth behind his murder and rescue his sweetheart (Demi Moore) from a similar fate.

A touching love story, a bright comedy, an astonishing supernatural tale, and a sleek mystery thriller all at the same time. I also have to mention the famous clay pottery wheel love scene featuring the song "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers.

Frankenstine

Robert De Niro stars in Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. True to the original, here is the story of a young doctor whose obsession with death leads him to create a life. But his "creature," crafted form the bodies of convicts and the brain of a brilliant scientist, is a hideous mockery of humanity. When the creature realizes he will never be accepted by men, he seeks revenge on Dr. Frankenstein and his family.

Perfectly comparable to the book, an excellent cast and a brillant, visually stunning movie.

Entrapment

When a priceless Rembrandt is stolen in NY, the evidence points to a solitary master thief (Sean Connery), who is about to meet the insurance company's most cunning- and seductive- investigator (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Following a nerve-racking game of cat and mouse, the 2 join forces... or so it seems... to attempt a daring multibillion dollar heist tied to the dawn of the new millennium.

Sexy, daring, and enticing. An excellent movie.

The Dukes Of Hazzard

With the General Lee tanked up for car-crashin action and with more laughs than a dog has fleas, this big-screen version of the long-running TV series is big-time fun. Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds, Willie Nelson and more help keep the pedal to the metal for 100-MPH laughs. Stars, comedy, spills and thrills, its got it all, y'all!

Jessica is extremely gorgeous, and the Duke brothers are very hot. Above all else, the General Lee is sexy as hell!

She is literally the polaroid of perfection. She has everything and she'll give it to you in a second. Looks can deceive, she wears her heart on her sleeve. She'll steal you away, but not just for one day. Everyday is an ordinary day. In her world she's an ordinary girl.

Give up yet? Its Clueless!!

Its not easy being the most popular and glamorous girl at Beverly Hills High. Especially when you're the envy of scheming Betties (female babes), persistent Barneys (unattractive guys), and teachers who go postal (freak out) when you turn your homework in late! Yet somehow 15-year old Cher (Alicia Silverstone) keeps it all together while finding time for matchmaking and fashion makeovers. Yet her world begins to unravel when 2 hunks, a stylish new classmate, and her "ex-stepbrother" come in to play. She's...well, CLUELESS.

Hip, sassy comedy that every teen should see. And an excellent mother/daughter movie.

Blazing Saddles

The railroads bound to run right through the sleepy town of Rock Ridge. Land there will be worth a fortune--but the townfold already own their own land. How do you drive them out? Send in the roughest, toughest, meanest, leanest, gang you've got... and appoint a new sheriff you figure will last about 24 hours.

But that's not really the plot, its just the pretext. Once the film gets going, logic is lost in a blizzard of gags, jokes, quips, puns, howlers, growlers, and outrageous assaults upon good taste--or any taste for that matter!

Cleavon Little as the new lawman, Gene Wilder stars as the wacko Waco Kid, Mel Brooks himself as dimwitted politico and madeline Kahn in her Marlene Dietrich sendup that earned an Acadamy Award nomination.

Mel Brooks' comic saga of cowboys and imbeciles.

Airport

Burt Lancaster and Dean Martin head this classic disaster film. On the ground, manager Mel Bakersfeld juggles lover Jean Seberg and wife dana Wynter while coping with a blizzard, aided by mechanic George Kennedy. In the sky, Capt. Vern demarcate must maintain control of a 707 with his pregnant stewardess girlfriend, a sly stowaway, and a bomb-toting maniac aboard.

definitely an all star cast with 2 sequels to follow and the winner of Best Picture at the Acadamy Awards, not to mention 10 other nominations. One to check out at some point in ones life.

When A Stranger Calls

To Jill, it was the perfect babysitting job. The parents away, the fridge stocked, and the children already tucked in bed. But then the phone rings and an ominous voice asks, "Have you checked the children?" Locked in with the lights out and the curtain drawn, Jill phones the police, who trace the calls--only to inform her that they are coming from inside the house. This quiet night of babysitting is about to turn into a nerve-shattering nightmare of suspense, horror and dread. Evil hits home.

Camilla Belle stars in this slightly predictable horror film with what I would call a sad ending. Not scary to me in the slightest.

Firewall

Its an ordinary day at Landrock Pacific Bank for everyone but expert Jack Stanfield. His wife and children are held hostage at home. Their idnappers have one demand: Jack must heist $100 million from the ultra-secure system he designed. And they'll be watching every move he makes. Never overlook the desperation of a man with everything to lose.

Starring Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany, its a pretty darn good flick with a couple minor holes.

The Producers

Nathan Lane and Mattew Broderick star in the hilariously funny film of the Broadway smash hit. Scheming producer Max Bialystock and his mousy accountant, Leo Bloom discover that under the right circumstances they could make more money by producing a Broadyway flop rather than a with a hit. But what will they do when their sure-t0-0ffend musical becomes a surprise sensation?

Check it out, it includes a sexy song and dance number by Uma Thurman and the hilarious comedy genius Will Ferrell.

The Bodyguard

When a famous pop singer (Houston) receives threatening notes, her manager hires a bodyguard (Costner). The bodyguard takes his job to the extreme because he was once a member of Reagan’s secret service but wasn’t on hand when there was an attack on the president. The bodyguard and the singer develop feelings for each other, and she begins to realize that she may be in more danger than she had originally thought. Never let your guard down and never fall in love.

Its a movie with snarky comebacks, desirable passion, and excellent musical selections. I highly recomend this movie even though I must admit the acting is quite mild.
